That a country not so known for metal as Serbia also has good musicians, you can hear when listening to Alogia. Progressive powermetal, heavy, melodic and atmospheric (sometimes all within one song), with a great (fairly high pitched) singer, Nikola Mijic. Sometimes it's plain speedy powermetal, but just when it gets a bit hectic, they build in a break again with e.g. an atmospheric song like "Kontinuum", the oriental intermezzo "Mystica Aegyptiorum" or several other intermezzos. Not all songs stand out as much, but "Lament" again does. As much as I like Nikola's high vocals, it's nice to have a ballad with lower vocals in between (but of course with some high notes still, hehe). In general I'd say there is a lot to listen to on this album, much love for detail, but the songs itself don't really get stuck in your ear. That's maybe something for future releases, in the meantime do give them a chance if you're into bands like Angra, Symphony X and such.
