"Total Fucking Necro" is not Anaal Nathrakh's latest studio album. It is "just" a collection of two early demos, both featured one Mayhem cover, "De Misteriis Dom Sathanas" and "Carnage". The demos are their self-titled one from 1999 (the first four tracks) and the "Total Fucking Necro"(tracks 5-9), also from 1999. This new release also contains "Necrogeddon" from their "We Will Fucking Kill You" recordings from 2001.

If you are not familiar with the band, their name and their album title are already enough to give you a hint what are they about. They are the most known underground black metal band from England. And as it is said in their album title, they play total fucking necro black metal. Relentless and accurate blastbeats, technical guitar work - melodic yet brutal - V.I.T.R.I.O.L's rasped, desperate shrieking vocals result raw and harsh necro black metal as it is the best. Violence and misanthropy in its blackest form.

I do not think I need to say more about this record. If you know what real black metal is, and you ever got hooked by necro black metal, this is a must for you. Of course if you are a fan of the band, it was not a question at all. In any other case, it will be too "noisy" for you.

(Anaal Nathrakh new studio album "Domine Non Es Dignus" will be released 1st November on Season of Mist.)
