14. Andralls On Fire - 2004 recording (bonus)

Andralls was formed in 1998 and "Inner Trauma" is their 3rd full-length CD, second on Mausoleum. They call their music "fasthrash" so expect nothing for the weak hearted. Their old school thrash reminds you of a young Sepultura and Slayer, but with a modern, powerful production. There is hardly any room for slower passages, it's full speed ahead for pretty much the whole album, with some killer riffs, chaotic solos, groove and cool aggressive vocals of Alex Coelho. The songs tend to sound alike a bit because of it, but it's still all in-your-face and brutal thrash that will get your adrenaline flowing for the next 46 minutes!

This European Mausoleum release was licensed by Marquee Records and their owner Armando Pereira (also one of the executive producers) contributes vocally to "Unexpected", "Fear Is My Alley" and "Mercy Mass" (spoken words, a prayer it seems, in a bass intro). The European version got a bonus track, a 2004 recording of a cool song of their debut, "Andralls On Fire" and a short, one-minute, fun-punk hidden track that we could've done without, but I don't the background of it. I don't have any particular favorite songs here, the whole CD just kicks your ass almost as bad as Sepultura did back in the 80's. They are still lacking the classic songs like "Innerself" or "Arise", but who knows what they'll come up with in the future. To end with the band's motto: Stay Fasthrash!!
