Holy indecipherable logo, Batman. I suppose that is to be expected though, when your band names itself Arsebreed and pukes forth a putrid and rotting pile of filth like "Munching The Rotten". Yes, Arsebreed has come forth to grind your ass into chum then garnish their corn flakes with it. The question is, how relevant is goregind in the grand scheme of things?

These guys really like their old Cannibal Corpse and Deicide and that influence shows clearly in the competent noise they create, heavy on bass guitar and thin on, well, damn near all else. There are also a few cursory nods to Carcass style gurgling and the song titles definitely do subscribe to the more medicalogical end of the spectrum, but dammit all, could we please make a song title that I can at least not understand when I read it? Seriously, "Impregnated While Giving Birth"? That is not even possible as far as I know, and I know that goregrind is all about the fantasy aspect, but that's kind of silly (though not as silly as the florist in Mortician which ain't even close to being metal).

Musically, no issues there for me, but alas it has all been done before ad naseum and add more blood. Likely, I would rate this one lower, except that they have somehow managed to craft an album cover that is both gore and epic at the same time, and that in and of itself deserves praise.
