First thing you ask yourself when reading the title of the album: is this a cover band? Actually, with title track "Motörfreak" as the opener on the album, one gets the impression, that it is a cover band... even if the follow ups are similar to the first, after listening to "Deathrace" and "Let The Wanna Be's Eat The Dust" you know the title and opening track is just a homage to Motörhead and well done.

The way Bad Machine plays the fast dirty rock 'n' roll style with punk influrences, you can immediately guess that Bad Machine must come from some Northern parts of Europe. Indeed they are, Masa (bass & vox), Ade (drums & b.-vox), Ana (guitar & vox) and Make (guitar & b.-vox) are greeting from Finland.

Even if there are 11 songs on it, with the length of 2 to 4 min. each song, you just get 30 min. of mostly full speed here. Now and then you can hear the Hellacopters, but also V8Wankers and Queen Of The Stone Age come to mind. Beside the homage song, there isn't really an outstanding song on the album, still it's a good album that kicks you in the butt. Fans of this speedy rock 'n' roll and punkrock should give it a shot.
