The members of the Italian band came together "just for fun" in the winter of 2000, as a result of guitarist Sandro Capone's idea (hehe, the main antagonist in the film Heroes of Might and Magic 2 has the same name!). Real enthusiasm arrived in 2001 with the new bass player (Girogio Novarino) and drummer (Giulio Capone). So much so that they made their first work as early as in that year. Rather soon, some may think. However, things seem to be working differently in Italy, since the musicians are so professional, and the singer (Fabio Privitera) has such a good voice that I can only say "wow"! A lot of leading metal bands from my country would ask for Privitera's phone number if he was Hungarian. In order to be able to present the same quality on stage, they asked another guitarist, Alex Azara, to join, and they made their second album, now of six tracks, with the new line-up not too long ago.
I can't write too much about the tracks: they're typical heavy metal songs, speedy, hard, and there's much input in them. But nothing else. So it's obvious here, too, that the hardest part is not to play a song (they're professional at it, that's for sure) but to write it. The best ones might be "I Won't Die Everyday" and "Bejelith". The first one is like a metal ballad, with very beautiful keyboards. (Here Fabio's voice is just like the Falconer singer's, Mathias Bald.) I guess I like the latter one because it's rather complex, there are a lot of intricate changes in it, and all the players (and the singer, of course) show their mastery in this track. I must draw attention to the 23-year-old Giulio Capone, who hits extremely great things on his set. What is more, he plays the keyboards, too! The others are not veterans either, the drummer is the oldest, the guitarist-brain Sandro is the youngest with his 18 years of age. In the letter written to us, they emphasized what bands had played a formative role in their development. However, I could have well guessed without this information. Among these bands are, for example, Rhapsody, who are also Italian, and the others follow from them. I think no new Italian heavy metal band could deny they've been influenced by Rhapsody, true or not J (So to say, Thy Majestie are a copy, but their music is full of emotions.) Still, if this Italian five-piece can produce such a work after two years of existence, they can end up in the highest places. However, it's equally difficult for a Hungarian as well as an Italian band to become great in these days of metal dumping. Quality is here and they will surely find their own voice sooner or later. The last necessary element for success is luck, which they deserve indeed.
