No! This band is NOT about housework! Its name is Big Iron, these four guys are coming from the USA, and that's exactly the music they're playing! Singer Dan Lehmann sometimes sounds like a mixture between Pantera's Phil Anselmo and Clawfinger's Zak Tell, and the music is partly quite similar as well, some influences of core or nu metal, but mostly just that very music that almost everybody knows as "US metal" meeting hardcore.

But Big Iron is not at all a rip-off, they do have their own sound and own songs as well of course! Shouter Dan mostly either speaks or screams, and the rhythm-part of the band is a real groove machine in several states of speed. "MouthHole" for example is an uptempo-song, where you hardly can resist nodding your head a bit. "The Truth" is a very emotional song, with an unexpected melodious vocal performance by Dan, obviously strong feelings must be related to this song, which somehow seems like a ballad, due to the fact that the guitars simply aren't as "strong" as they are in the other songs; although it is in fact no ballad, just a more slight piece of Big Iron music, great song indeed!! Way more aggressive, in strict contrary to the "feels like"-ballad is the hardcore song "The Breakdown Is Coming", where Dan sounds exactly like Clawfinger's frontman. And there's the titletrack, again a bit softer (or should I say "less heavy"?) than the rest, with less aggression, whereas the rest really is full of it. The other songs of "Falling Down" really are quite similar to each other, as far as the style is concerned. Nothing new, quite groovy, the vocals either spoken or shouted, but in a way no metalcore nor nu metal, something different, in between. Or how would you consider the style of Pantera and Clawfinger?? I'd say it's a mixture of "oldschool" hardcore and US metal! Honestly not my style, but, trying to be as objective as I can, the guys know their music and they are good at it!
